r/harrypotter Numbers & House Count

We just celebrated our 5,000th sorted member of harrypotter.reddit.com. To help celebrate, here are some numbers of our little community!

  1. Ravenclaw House - 1,901 students
  2. Gryffindor House - 1,428 students
  3. Slytherin House - 954 students
  4. Hufflepuff House - 762 students

We have 12,590 registered reddit users who subscribe to r/harrypotter. In the past week, an average of 6,401 different, unique people visited r/harrypotter every day. Those 6,401 viewed our community 59,365 times per day.  

On September 1, 2011, the day students take the Hogwarts Express, we had 7,291 visitors who viewed r/harrypotter 52,113 times, and 107 people became new subscribers. Our biggest day in the past two months was July 16, 2011 when we had 11, 155 unique visitors, who viewed r/harrypotter a whopping 145,816 times! On that day, we had 389 people become new subscribers!
