Is there something that can be done to accommodate Harry Potter fanfiction? Somewhere where we can discuss fics we've read, favorite authors, post recommendations etc etc. Thanks! :D

We just celebrated our 5,000th sorted member of harrypotter.reddit.com. To help celebrate, here are some numbers of our little community!

Ravenclaw House - 1,901 students
Gryffindor House - 1,428 students
Slytherin House - 954 students
Hufflepuff House - 762 students

We have 12,590 registered reddit users who subscribe to r/harrypotter. In the past week, an average of 6,401 different, unique people visited r/harrypotter every day. Those 6,401 viewed our community 59,365 times per day.

On September 1, 2011, the day students take the Hogwarts Express, we had 7,291 visitors who viewed r/harrypotter 52,113 times, and 107 people became new subscribers. Our biggest day in the past two months was July 16, 2011 when we had 11, 155 unique visitors, who viewed r/harrypotter a whopping 145,816 times! On that day, we had 389 people become new subscribers!

I have removed all Quidditch icons from r/harrypotter. We had a problem with space in our database. So I have place all Quidditch team members back to their house shield. I have also removed all Custom Titles. I will be replacing all of these with the new reddit feature called, “flair.” So it may take a day or two to get your title back, but don’t worry, it will come back! Any questions, please ask! No one panic! We reverted back to the pre Deathly Hallows 2 design for r/harrypotter! No fear, we have something nice planned to replace it as soon as we crown the first House Cup, come August 1, 2011!
